Nayantara is another import from Kerala. Like Asin, she too is born and brought up in Kerala, India. She born in 8 November 1984 in Tiruvalla, Kerala to an Air Force officer. Her original name is Diana Mariam Kurien. Being a daughter of An Air Force Officer, she studied in different parts of Tamilnadu and Kerala. She completed her degree in BA in Thiruvalla, Kerala.
While in college she was offered to act in Malayalam movie by director Satyan opposite Jayaram in Mansinakkare. Later she did movies opposite Mohanlal, and Mammootty. She also worked in Fazil's Vismayathumbathu.
Following her stunt in Malayalam movies, she did several Tamil and Telugu movies . Movies like Ayya (with Sarath Kumar), Chandramukhi (with Rajni), Vallavan, Ghajini (with Surya), Yogi (telugu). She ruled supreme with movies like Billa (with Ajth) in 2007, Yaaradi Nee Mohini (with Danush) were colossal success.
As Trisha is fading into oblivision, Nayantar is reginning supereme trying to reach the top stop in South Indian Film Industry. With movies Kuselan (released Aug 2008), Aegan, Villu, Sathyam (Aug 2008) all line up for releases, she is definitely going places, commanding high price.

Shriya Saran born 11 September 1982 began her career in music videos while attending activing studio to follow her dream to be in movies. Her debut film Ishtam in 2001. But audience noticed her when she played Bhanu in Santhosham (Telugu, 2002). Santhosham was a major hit. She appeared in several Telugu films with all big actors. At the same time, she was trying her luck and making in-roads in Bollywood and Tamil film industry. In 2007 Sivaji: the Boss happened. The organization alleged that Shriya's dress code had offended Hindu culture. Shriya has already apologized for wearing inappropriate and skimpy cloths. Similar cases still pending for three other actors, Kushboo, Shilpa Shetty and Reema Sen.
Shriya Saran was born in Haridwar and moved to Delhi and as she wanted to learn kathak from guru Shovana Narayan. She was rumored have dated Rajiv Madhavan, which she denied. Currently she is in a relationship with Jesse Metcalfe. Jesse Metcalfe is a co-actor for one of her English movies.
Besides two English films, Shriya can be seen in a Tamil called Jaggubhai.
