In 2007, Meredith Kercher, a British student studying in Perugia, Italy, died a slow, agonizing death. There were three people charged in her murder; the most famous is the cold-blooded psychopath Amanda Knox. It took two people to kill her and about three, including Amanda Knox, to sexually assault and torture her. She was only sentenced to twenty-six years in prison. In this country, a murder like that would certainly mean death.
